We have a block of rooms reserved at the Crystal City Marriott, checking in on Monday, July 19 and checking out on Tuesday, July 20 at a rate of $169.00 plus tax for the night.

If you are able to cover the cost of the hotel on your own, you can reserve your room by visiting our unique reservation link at: http://www.marriott.com/ or calling 703.413.5500 and letting them know you are part of the Women Against Prostate Cancer room block. If you would like to stay any additional nights either before or after the event you will have to call the Marriott reservation desk at 703.413.5500 in order to be a part of our block and see what rate you can have for other nights. The deadline to reserve a room at this rate is Monday, June 21, 2010.
A limited number of rooms are available to be paid for by Women Against Prostate Cancer. If you are not able to cover the cost of your hotel, please let us know by choosing the appropriate check box on the registration form. Please note, there are a limited number of rooms and we will do our best to accommodate everyone we can. These rooms will be considered on a first come, first serve basis. The deadline to register is Monday, June 21, 2010.

We will make accommodations for your luggage to be stored if you are not able to check into your room earlier that day.
A credit card must be presented upon check-in for incidentals which must be paid in full upon check out. Please keep in mind that late registrations may not be accommodated by the host hotel.
Travel Information:
Air Travel
Information about Washington, DC’s regional airports, Dulles International and Reagan National can be found at http://www.metwashairports.com/default.htm
Reagan National Airport is approximately 1 mile from the Crystal City Marriott hotel and there is a complimentary shuttle that runs between the airport and hotel throughout the day. If travel to Reagan National Airport is not possible or is cost prohibitive, Dulles International is approximately 30 miles from the Crystal City Marriott. There is no complimentary shuttle to or from Dulles International. Travel to and from Dulles is possible via taxi (approximately $40 – $55) or a Bus/Metro service (more information below).
Participants who are able to cover their own travel costs are free to book their own airline reservations by a method of their choosing.
Women Against Prostate Cancer has a limited budget available for travel stipends. If you are not able to cover the cost of your travel, please let us know by choosing the appropriate check box on the registration form and we will contact you to arrange travel.
Ground Transportation
Individuals will be responsible for their own ground transportation, although we are happy to assist you with your arrangements.

Parking at the hotel: On-site parking fee: 6 USD hourly, 22 USD daily. Valet parking fee: 27 USD daily.
Transportation to the hotel is available as follows:
- Complimentary Shuttle from Reagan Washington National Airport from 6:05am to 11:00pm, pickup locations are the A Gates and Doors 5 and 9, in the B and C Concourse Lower Level. The shuttle runs approximately every 15 minutes. This is the best option if you are traveling to Reagan National.
- Taxi Service: Approximately $10 – $12 from Reagan National Airport, Approximately $40 – $55 from Dulles International Airport.
- Subway/Public Transportation: Metro (Washington Metropolitan Transportation Authority)
If you choose to take the Metro, there is a stop at Reagan National Airport and you can take that to the Crystal City stop which is right across the street from the hotel. If you would like to take public transportation from Dulles International Airport you will have to take a bus and then transfer to the Metro, you can find directions on how to do so at: http://www.metwashairports.com/dulles/809.htm. Participants will travel to Capitol Hill on Tuesday, July 20 via Metro. Metro passes will be provided.
Dress:
The dress code for the event is business or business casual. Please keep in mind that on the 2nd day of the conference you will be doing a considerable amount of walking, so please wear practical shoes. Also the average high temperature in mid-July in Washington, DC is 89 degrees with an average low around 65 degrees.
